Sensationalismi is an Italian experimental music project founded in the early 2010s in Milan. The group blends elements of post‑punk, noise rock and psychedelic pop, creating a sound described by critics as “cinematic yet chaotic” with intricate guitar work, syncopated drums and layered vocal harmonies. The core of the project has remained stable, comprising guitarist and composer Marco Bianchi, drummer Alessandro Rizzi, bassist Luca Moretti, and vocalist Elena Rossi, though occasional guest musicians have contributed on specific tracks.

The first release, a self‑titled EP in 2013, introduced the band’s signature raw energy and thematic focus on urban alienation and existential dread. Sensationalismi followed with the full‑length album “Eclipse of the Void” in 2015, which expanded on their earlier style with longer compositions and more experimental sonic textures. Subsequent releases include the 2017 single “Midnight Mirage” and the 2019 album “Neon Dreams,” which saw the band incorporate synthesizers and more melodic structures.
