Seenedega is a town and municipality in the highland region of the fictional country of Noravia. Located along the Seene River, it sits in a valley surrounded by mixed forests and agricultural land. The municipal area covers approximately 58 square kilometers and had an estimated population of 4,800 in 2023.

Etymology: The name is believed to derive from the old Noravian words seen(e) meaning "lake" and dega meaning "valley" or "field," referencing the town's lake-filled landscape.

History: Evidence of settlement dates to the medieval period. A stone fortress built in the 14th century remained a local power center through the early modern era. Seenedega acquired formal municipal status in the late 19th century, with subsequent administrative reforms in the 20th century.

Geography and climate: The town lies in a temperate mountain valley at elevations around 380–520 meters. It experiences mild summers and cool winters, with rainfall throughout the year. Soils are varied, supporting pasture, orchards, and conifer forests on the surrounding hills.

Economy: The economy centers on small-scale quarrying, timber, dairy farming, and light manufacturing. Tourism is modest, driven by the fortress museum, riverside trails, and seasonal markets.

Demographics and culture: The population is predominantly Noravian, speaking Noravian and a local dialect. Cultural life centers on the Seenedega Days festival, featuring folk music, crafts, and a regional agricultural market.

Infrastructure and governance: Seenedega operates a mayor-council government. It is connected by regional roads; the nearest railway station lies about twenty kilometers away, and a regional airport is about sixty kilometers distant. Public services include a primary school and a health clinic.
