Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that primarily affects the scalp, face, and chest. It is characterized by red, flaky, and itchy skin, often with greasy scales. In infants, it is commonly known as cradle cap, presenting as yellowish, greasy scales on the scalp.
