Rozgaznienie is a process aimed at removing gases from a system, most often from liquids, but also from melts, solids, or mixtures. In technical literature it is related to degazacja or odgazowanie, and its purpose is to reduce dissolved or entrained gases that can affect material properties, chemical stability, or process performance.

Typical methods include vacuum degassing, which reduces pressure to drive out dissolved gases; sparging with an inert gas or air to strip gases from a liquid; heating under controlled atmosphere or reduced pressure; and mechanical agitation or ultrasonication to facilitate gas release. In solids or melts, special degassing chambers or rotary degassers may be used to enhance gas removal. Membrane-based approaches and centrifugal techniques are also employed in some systems.

Applications span several industries. In metallurgy, rozgaznienie is used to remove dissolved hydrogen, nitrogen, and other gases from molten metals to reduce porosity and improve mechanical properties. In plastics, rubber, and adhesives, degassing removes trapped air and volatiles to prevent voids and defects during processing. In chemistry and pharmaceuticals, it helps obtain uniform solutions and prevents gas-related side reactions. In food and beverage production, degassing can be used to remove unwanted CO2 or other volatile compounds and to stabilize products. Water treatment and analytical laboratories also employ rozgaznienie to improve sample quality and accuracy.

Equipment commonly used includes degassers, vacuum chambers, spargers, and ultrasonic or membrane-based devices. The choice of method depends on the medium, desired gas reduction, and cost considerations.
