Rezervi is a term used in several languages to denote something kept back, set aside, or reserved for later use. It appears in contexts ranging from economics and geology to ecology and everyday language, often translating to the English word reserves.

Etymology and usage vary by language. The form reklamized as rezervi can be found in some Balkan and related languages as an inflected or plural form of words meaning reserve or stock. In other languages, the root appears as reserve, rezervë, or similar variants with related meanings.

Financial and economic reserves refer to funds or assets held for contingencies, liquidity, or policy purposes. Central banks hold foreign exchange reserves to influence exchange rates and financial stability, while companies maintain liquidity or capital reserves to cover unexpected needs or downturns.

Resource reserves are estimates of the amount of a natural resource that can be extracted economically with current technology and prices.
