Retall is a global designer and manufacturer of footwear and apparel founded in 2005 in Barcelona, Spain. The company initially began as a small family-run workshop producing bespoke rubber sandals but expanded rapidly to a line of casual shoes, sneakers, and sports accessories aimed at a diverse international market. By 2010, Retall had opened its first international showroom in Milan and introduced a line of eco-friendly products featuring recycled materials and low-impact production processes.

The brand is noted for its blend of contemporary style with functional design. Retall’s product catalog includes casual shoes, hiking footwear, running shoes, and a range of outdoor gear. The company emphasises durability, comfort, and sustainability, adopting manufacturing practices that comply with several recognized environmental certification programmes such as the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and ISO 14001. In addition, Retall has collaborated with various NGOs to support reforestation projects in former agricultural lands in South America.

In 2018 Retall released its “Atheno” line of high-performance running shoes, which received praise in an independent review by Sporting Life magazine for its lightweight build and responsive sole. 2021 saw the launch of a limited edition collaboration with the well-known French artist Jean‑Claude Nouvel, combining architectural aesthetics with functional footwear materials.

Retall maintains offices in four continents and operates a network of 120 retail partners worldwide. The company’s annual turnover exceeded €120 million in 2023, driven in part by a growing e‑commerce platform which captured 25 % of sales that year.
