Reseiktiosta is a Finnish medical term that refers to the act or outcome of surgical resection, the deliberate removal of tissue or an organ portion. In medical usage, resektiosta encompasses a range of operations designed to remove diseased tissue while preserving as much healthy tissue and function as possible.
