Reinkostoida is a Finnish verb that describes the act of applying ink again to a printing or stamping surface in order to restore or improve ink transfer. The term is used primarily in contexts involving rubber stamps, printmaking, and related office or hobby activities where ink must be replenished to achieve consistent results.

In practice, reinkostoida covers several specific tasks. For rubber stamping and stamp making, it often means adding fresh ink to a stamp pad or directly re-inking the rubber stamp so that impressions are clean and uniformly dark. In graphic arts and printmaking, re-inking refers to applying a new, even layer of ink to a printing block, plate, or roller, typically with a brayer or roller, to maintain proper coverage and tonal balance between impressions. The concept can also appear in printer maintenance, where it describes re-filling ink reservoirs or cartridges to resume printing.

The term is largely informal and stems from the English prefix re- combined with a Finnish-forming suffix -oida, rather than from a traditional Finnish technical vocabulary. As such, reinkostoida is more common in hobbyist, artisanal, and some professional circles than in formal documentation.
