Usage: It is common in phrases such as "musím to promyslet" (I must think it through) or "promyslete si to" (think it through). The imperfective counterpart is "promýšlet," which stresses ongoing thinking, while the perfective "promyslet" stresses having completed the thought process.

Notes: In Czech, promyslet typically carries a sense of careful, systematic consideration that may lead to a firm conclusion or decision. It is often contrasted with "přemýšlet," which can denote more general, spontaneous, or less structured thinking.
