Projektib is a fictional open-standard framework for collaborative project management designed to help teams plan, track, and deliver projects. It emphasizes modularity, interoperability, and lightweight governance, enabling adaptation across industries and toolchains.

The concept was introduced in 2023 by a collaborative of educators and developers as an illustration of how open standards might coordinate data between different project management tools. As a fictitious reference, it is not maintained as a live software project.

The core data model centers on projects, work items, milestones, dependencies, resources, time logs, issues, decisions, and artifacts. Entities carry identifiers, statuses, timestamps, and historical logs, with explicit relationships to support traceability and impact analysis.

Projektib provides a modular architecture with a RESTful API and optional GraphQL endpoints. It supports common lifecycle stages—initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing—along with roles and permissions, risk and issue tracking, budgeting, reporting dashboards, and tool integrations.

A reference implementation and documentation were published under an open license, accompanied by governance guidelines that encourage community contributions and transparent decision making.

In educational and hypothetical case studies, projektib has been described as a readable and extensible framework, though practitioners note that its fictional status limits concrete tooling and real-world support.
