Polümeermaterjalist, commonly referred to as polymer, is a large molecule composed of repeating structural units. These units, called monomers, are linked together by covalent chemical bonds. They are found in textiles, packaging, construction materials, automotive parts, medical devices, and electronics, among many others. Their relatively low cost, lightweight nature, and tunable properties make them an attractive alternative to traditional materials like metals and ceramics.
