polineuropátiák
Polineuropátiák refer to a group of disorders that affect the peripheral nervous system. The peripheral nervous system consists of all nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord. In polineuropátiák, multiple nerves are damaged, leading to a wide range of symptoms. These symptoms often include sensory disturbances such as numbness, tingling, and pain, as well as motor impairments like weakness and loss of coordination. Autonomic nerves can also be involved, causing issues with digestion, heart rate, and blood pressure.
There are many causes of polineuropátiák. Diabetes mellitus is a very common cause, leading to diabetic neuropathy.
The diagnosis of polineuropátiák typically involves a thorough medical history, a neurological examination, and often electrodiagnostic
