plasmastrålning
Plasmastrålning, also known as plasma spraying, is a thermal spraying process used to deposit a molten or semi-molten coating onto a surface. In this process, a plasma gas, typically argon, nitrogen, or hydrogen, is ionized and heated to very high temperatures, forming a plasma jet. The coating material, in the form of a powder, is injected into this plasma jet where it rapidly melts and accelerates towards the substrate. Upon impact, the molten particles flatten, cool, and solidify, forming a dense, protective coating.
The high temperatures achievable with plasma spraying, often exceeding 10,000 degrees Celsius, allow for the melting
The characteristics of the deposited coating can be controlled by adjusting parameters such as plasma gas
