Peronistas are adherents of Peronism, a political movement in Argentina associated with Juan Domingo Perón and Evita (Eva Duarte de Perón). Originating in the 1940s within the labor movement, Peronism has remained a persistent force in Argentine politics and government, shaping party structures and national policy for decades.

Core ideas commonly linked with Peronism include social justice, labor rights, economic sovereignty, and an active role for the state in national development. Peronism emphasizes inclusion of workers in political life, often through unions, and favors a pragmatic, populist approach that seeks broad social support rather than strict ideological purity. The movement has embraced both state-led development and social welfare programs.

Institutionally, the main organizational vehicle is the Justicialist Party (Partido Justicialista), and Peronists have governed Argentina in various periods, beginning with Perón's presidencies (1946–1955), then through later leaders within the movement, such as Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, and in recent years through coalitions associated with Peronist principles.

Because Peronism encompasses a wide range of currents, from left to right, Peronists often participate in broad coalitions, such as Frente para la Victoria or Frente de Todos. The label peronista is used to describe members of the Justicialist Party or allied movements, and the movement remains a major organizing force in Argentine politics.
