Otkazilishi is a word used in the Uzbek language, derived from the root verb oxkazish, which means “to transfer” or “to hand over.” The form otkazilishi is a nominalized structure that refers to the act or state of transferring something, such as property, responsibility, or information. It is commonly employed in legal, administrative, and bureaucratic contexts as well as in everyday conversation when discussing the movement of items or proceedings from one person or entity to another.

Morphologically, o‑t‑ga‑z‑il‑ish‑i combines the root prefix o‑ (denoting an action), the suffix –ga (indicating direction or target), the root flor “kaz” (to do, act), the nominalising suffix –il, and the verbal noun suffix –ish. The resulting noun enables speakers to discuss the transfer as a discrete event. In script, the term is written in Cyrillic as “откази́лиши” or in the Latin alphabet as “otkazilishi.” The comparative Turkish form, “aktarım,” shares the same core meaning of “transfer.”
