Ordningene is a Norwegian indie pop band that formed in Oslo in 2015. The group consists of vocalist and guitarist Mats Berg, bassist Nina Solberg, drummer Harald Jørgensen, and keyboardist Espen Dahl. Their name, which translates as “The Arrangements” in English, reflects the band’s focus on intricate musical structures and thoughtful lyricism.

The band first gained attention by performing at the annual Øya Festival in 2016, where their blend of jangly guitars and reflective songwriting garnered positive reviews from local media. A self-released EP, “Stedfortreder” (2017), showcased their early sound, featuring a mix of upbeat tracks and introspective ballads. The success of the EP led to a record deal with the independent label Svarte Musik.

Ordningene’s debut studio album, “Lydløst” (2018), received critical acclaim for its sophisticated production and mature lyrical themes. It reached number 12 on the Norwegian Albums Chart and earned the band a nomination for the P3 Gull award for best pop record. Subsequent releases include the sophomore album “Kronjuveler” (2020) and a live recordings album “Nattens Lyset” (2021). Their music often explores themes of identity, urban life, and personal growth, and has been compared to bands such as Kings of Convenience and Sondre Lerche.

The group has performed extensively throughout Scandinavia and has shared stages with artists including Röyksopp and The National. While maintaining a modest live profile, Ordningene has cultivated a dedicated following through their thoughtful songwriting and consistent touring schedule. The band remains active, with a forthcoming third studio album slated for release in late 2025.
