ohjaaviin

Ohjaaviin is a conceptual open-source software framework designed to support the design and operation of guidance systems in autonomous and semi-autonomous platforms. It provides a modular architecture intended to facilitate safe decision-making, behavior orchestration, and human–machine interaction.

Origin and naming: The term Ohjaaviin draws from Finnish words related to guidance and control. In the framework, it is used as a generic label for the set of guiding components and their interactions across a control stack.

Architecture and features: The framework comprises a core guidance engine, sensor interface adapters, planning and execution modules, and a user interface layer. It defines a standardized, publish–subscribe communication protocol and a common data model to enable interoperability across sensors, actuators, and higher-level planners.
