nRF52832

The nRF52832 is a multi-protocol system-on-chip from Nordic Semiconductor, released as part of the nRF52 family. It integrates a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F CPU with a 2.4 GHz wireless transceiver designed for Bluetooth Low Energy, ANT, and other 2.4 GHz protocols, making it suitable for compact IoT devices, wearables, and beacons.

Core features include a Cortex-M4F core up to 64 MHz, 512 KB of flash memory and 64 KB of RAM. The SoC provides a range of peripherals such as timers, PWM, PPI and GPIOTE, serial interfaces (SPI, I2C/TWI, UART), a 12-bit SAADC analog-to-digital converter, a true random number generator, and a cryptographic engine for AES-128. The radio supports BLE with the SoftDevice stacks for protocol control.

Power efficiency is a hallmark; the device supports low-power modes with several sleep states and optimized wakeup behavior for battery-powered applications.
