Minipersejä refers to a breed of domestic cat characterized by its compact size. While often considered a miniaturized version of the Persian breed, minipersejä do not possess the exact same physical and temperamental traits as Persians.

Physically, minipersejä cats exhibit a more compact build, with a general weight range between 3 to 5 kilograms. Their short, dense coat comes in various colors and patterns common among domestic cat breeds. One notable characteristic of minipersejä is their nose and face shape, said to be somewhat pointed in comparison to the broad faces typical of Persian cats.

Minipersejä also boasts a more energetic disposition than Persians, being known for their curious nature and affinity for play. This sounds somewhat contradictory to the laid-back and more docile reputation usually linked with Persian breeds.

While literature on minipersejä cats is minimal, an entire breed's specific standardization appears to be nonexistent. This lack of formal definition, as well as the exact genetic nature of minipersejä traits, detracts somewhat from any official status the minipersejä posses as a distinct breed within cat breeding circles.

There are assertions that minipersejä exists by applying selective breeding on Persian cats to achieve a smaller size. Such suggestions and addictions produced variations with desired characteristics but none have gained a clear foothold as an internationally accepted, standardized breed within recognized cat registries capable of scale out certification for new show-winning cats.
