Logiikkavirhe, often translated as logical fallacy, refers to a flaw in reasoning that renders an argument invalid. Other frequently encountered fallacies include the slippery slope, which asserts that a relatively small first step will inevitably lead to a chain of related events culminating in some significant (usually negative) effect, and the false dilemma, which presents only two options when in reality more possibilities exist.
