listservers

However, listservs have also been criticized for being susceptible to spam and abuse. To address this issue, many listservs now use anti-spam measures and moderation policies.

Today, listservs continue to be used as a tool for electronic communication among groups of people. They have been largely replaced by more modern systems such as social media platforms and email marketing software, but they still offer a useful way to share information and collaborate with others online.
