Lasiseos, or glass fusion, is a glass art technique where pieces of glass are heated in a kiln until they melt and fuse together. The complexity of the design is limited only by the artist's imagination and skill. Techniques within lasiseos include slumping, where glass is draped over a mold, and casting, where molten glass is poured into a mold. The resulting fused glass pieces can have smooth, polished surfaces or textured finishes depending on the firing process and any molds used.
