Käyttökelpoisuusanalyysi, often translated as usability analysis or usability testing, is a systematic process of evaluating how easy and effective a product, system, or service is to use for its intended users. The primary goal is to identify and fix usability problems before a product is released to the market or to improve existing ones. This analysis focuses on understanding user behavior, their goals, and the obstacles they encounter while interacting with the product.

The process typically involves observing actual users as they attempt to complete specific tasks using the product. Researchers often recruit a representative sample of the target audience and provide them with a set of predefined scenarios. During these sessions, users are encouraged to think aloud, revealing their thought processes, expectations, and frustrations. The analysis then involves documenting the observed issues, categorizing them by severity, and recommending solutions.
