koululaisista
Koululaisista refers to school children in Finnish. The term encompasses children who are attending primary or secondary education. In Finland, the compulsory education system begins at age seven and continues until a student completes upper secondary education, which is typically around age 18 or 19. This period covers both the nine-year comprehensive school (peruskoulu) and the subsequent upper secondary education, which can be either general upper secondary school (lukio) leading to matriculation or vocational education and training (ammatillinen koulutus).
Koululaisista are an integral part of Finnish society, and their well-being and educational development are prioritized.
