Kansallinen Kokoomus, commonly referred to as Kokoomus, is Finland's centre-right political party. It promotes liberal-conservative, market-oriented policies and individual responsibility, while supporting a modern, sustainable welfare state and strong national defense. The party advocates Finland's continued integration with the European Union and broader security cooperation, including increased defense capability and international partnerships.

Its roots lie in early-20th-century liberal-conservative movements, and it took on its current form as Kansallinen Kokoomus in the mid-1960s through reorganizations of the conservative right. Since then, Kokoomus has been a major force in Finnish politics, participating in several governments and providing leaders for the country, often from a pragmatic, coalition-building stance.

Policy priorities include tax reform to support growth and public services, deregulation to boost entrepreneurship, investment in education and research, and prudent public finances. The party emphasises the rule of law, competition, and efficient public administration, while advocating private-sector leadership in welfare services within a framed public-finance framework.

Organization: The party is organized with a central committee and a parliamentary group in the Finnish parliament. It maintains a youth wing, Kokoomuksen Nuoret, and various female and think-tank organizations. The leader of the party as of 2024 is Petteri Orpo, who heads a group that frequently participates in government coalitions when the party wins seats.

Internationally, Kokoomus is a member of the European People's Party (EPP) and collaborates with other center-right parties in Europe and the Nordic region. It participates in European, transatlantic, and Nordic conservative networks, aligning with parties that share its emphasis on market economy, rule of law, and European integration.
