kodoniga
Kodoniga is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Sclerodermataceae. These fungi are characterized by their relatively small, brightly colored fruiting bodies. Typically, kodoniga species produce globose to subglobose sporocarps that can range in color from yellow to orange or reddish-brown. The outer layer of the sporocarp, the peridium, is often thin and can be smooth or slightly roughened. Internally, the gleba, which contains the spores, is initially fleshy and white, gradually turning brown or purplish-brown and eventually disintegrating to release the spores.
The spores of kodoniga are generally globose to subglobose and possess a rough, echinulate, or reticulate surface.
