Juryutval is a term used in several Nordic languages to denote a committee or panel that oversees matters related to juries within an organization. The precise mandate varies by country and context, but a juryutval typically has responsibility for selecting, preparing, or supervising jurors or juries for specific processes, such as prize awards, competitions, or, in some jurisdictions, legal proceedings.

In award and competition contexts, a juryutval may draft eligibility criteria, nominate or appoint jurors with relevant expertise, and oversee the evaluation process to ensure fairness and transparency. It may also establish rules of conduct, handle conflicts of interest, and publish deliberations or decisions in accordance with organizational policy.

In legal contexts, jurisdictions that maintain juries may use a body akin to a juryutval to organize juror pools, define voir dire procedures, and monitor impartiality. However, in many systems, juror selection is performed directly by the court rather than by a separate committee.
