Inklusiewe is an Afrikaans term used to describe practices, policies, and mindsets that aim to include all people and remove barriers to participation. The word is linked to the concept of inclusion and is employed across social, educational, and policy contexts to emphasize accessibility, equity, and belonging in diverse settings.

In education, inklusiewe onderwys (inclusive education) seeks to integrate learners with a range of abilities, backgrounds, and needs into mainstream classrooms. It is supported by individualized plans, assistive technologies, differentiated instruction, and accessible resources, with the goal of improving access to quality learning for all students rather than excluding anyone on the basis of disability, language, or socioeconomic status.

In language and communication, inklusiewe taal (inclusive language) strives to avoid biased or exclusionary terms and to use gender-aware and respectful expressions. In design and technology, inklusiewe ontwerp (inclusive design) aims to create products, services, and environments usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
