Imaginaarihäiriöitä, known in English as delusional disorders, are a group of mental health conditions characterized by the presence of one or more delusions that persist for at least one month. A delusion is a fixed, false belief that is firmly held despite evidence to the contrary and is not explained by the person's cultural background. Unlike in schizophrenia, prominent hallucinations, disorganized speech, or significant disorganization or catatonia are not typically present, and functioning outside the specific delusions is often not markedly impaired.
