hátúszásként
Hátúszásként is a Hungarian term that translates to "backstroke swimming" in English. It refers to one of the four competitive swimming strokes, characterized by the swimmer lying on their back and propelling themselves through the water using alternating arm movements and a flutter kick. In competitive swimming, the backstroke is swum in a specific lane, and swimmers must remain on their back throughout the race, except for turns. The start of a backstroke race is unique, with swimmers beginning in the water, holding onto the wall. Their feet are typically placed on the wall, and they push off underwater before surfacing to begin their stroke. Turns in backstroke are executed by touching the wall with any part of their body and then rotating onto their front to perform a flip turn, immediately returning to their back before pushing off. The finish of a backstroke race requires the swimmer to touch the wall while on their back. Backstroke is often considered a less physically demanding stroke for the respiratory system compared to freestyle or butterfly, as the face is out of the water, allowing for easier breathing. However, it requires significant core strength and body awareness to maintain a streamlined position and efficient propulsion.
