Huippuvuudet, known in English as the Sverdrup Islands, is a group of islands located in the Arctic Ocean, part of the Norwegian territory of Svalbard. The name "Huippuvuudet" is Finnish, translating to "the high islands," reflecting the prominent elevations of the islands. The archipelago consists of several main islands including Nordaustlandet, Edgeøya, and Barentsøya, along with numerous smaller islets and skerries.

The climate of the Huippuvuudet is characterized by a polar environment with long, cold winters and short, cool summers.
