Hangulatára is a Hungarian grammatical form derived from hangulat, meaning mood. The suffix -ára marks the target or recipient of an action or influence, so hangulatára can be understood as “to its mood” or “on its mood.” The construction is used when describing how something affects or relates to the mood of someone or something.

In practice hangulatára appears in clauses with verbs that express influence, impact, or relation, such as hatással van (has an effect on) or befolyásol (influence). For example: A zene hat a közönség hangulatára. (Music affects the mood of the audience.) A beszéd nagy hatással volt a vendégek hangulatára. (The speech had a large effect on the guests’ mood.)

The form is part of Hungarian usage that marks target of influence rather than a standalone lexical item. It is commonly found in formal or descriptive prose about music, events, or literature when the discussion centers on how mood is affected.
