Grensflater is an informal Dutch term formed from grens (border) and flater (blunder), used to describe an error, oversight or miscalculation related to territorial boundaries. Although not a formal technical term, it appears in journalistic and colloquial contexts to characterize mistakes that have political, legal or practical consequences for borders between states, municipalities or properties.

In cartography and geographic information systems (GIS) a grensflater can refer to mapping inaccuracies such as misplaced boundary lines, datum or projection errors, and transcription mistakes that lead to incorrect representations of limits on maps.
