Föléglazúrozási is a Hungarian term that translates to "over-glazing" or "additional glazing" in English. It refers to a decorative technique primarily used in pottery and ceramics. This method involves applying a second, often transparent or semi-transparent, layer of glaze over an already fired ceramic piece that has a base glaze. The purpose of this over-glazing is to introduce new visual effects, enhance existing colors, or add intricate patterns and textures.

The process typically involves carefully selecting a compatible glaze for the second layer. This glaze is then applied to the surface of the fired base glaze. Firing the piece again at a suitable temperature causes the over-glaze to melt and fuse with the underlying glaze.
