Key features include selecting one or more core frameworks to guide activities, tailoring frameworks to local context, and implementing processes, roles, metrics, and tooling that are consistent with the framework. Ongoing maintenance, reviews, and updates are typically part of the approach to reflect changes in the framework or operating environment. Benefits commonly cited are improved standardization, easier auditing, faster onboarding, scalable operations, and clearer accountability.
