FormsAsomtavruli refers to the Asomtavruli form of the Georgian script in digital typography and encoding contexts. Asomtavruli is the oldest Georgian script, traditionally used from the 5th through the 9th centuries, and is characterized by monumental, uppercase-like letters. In historical inscriptions and manuscripts, Asomtavruli presents bold, angular glyphs with broad strokes; later scripts Nuskhuri and Mkhedruli developed from or alongside it.

In modern typesetting and digital typography, formsAsomtavruli denotes the subset of Georgian glyphs that preserve the Asomtavruli shapes. Fonts and rendering systems may expose Asomtavruli as a distinct glyph set or as presentation forms, enabling authors to display traditional monumental letters for scholarly editions, emblems, or decorative text. In Unicode, the historical Asomtavruli letters are represented by dedicated code points within the Georgian script blocks, separate from the Mkhedruli characters; some fonts may map these to stylistic alternatives via OpenType features.
