Fläckfri is a Swedish adjective meaning free from stains or blemishes, and by extension immaculate or flawless. It is formed from fläck, stain, and fri, free, and can describe both physical surfaces and more abstract qualities.

In literal usage, the term is common in cleaning and textiles. A garment, tablecloth, or upholstery can be described as fläckfri after washing. In product labeling and advertising, detergents or cleaning methods may promise to leave fabrics fläckfria, highlighting stain removal and laundering effectiveness.

Metaphorically, fläckfri can describe reputations, records, or processes that are perceived as free from faults or blemishes. The sense remains tied to cleanliness and visual appearance, and it is less often used for moral judgments than the related term felfri.

Compared with synonyms, fläckfri emphasizes absence of stains rather than absence of faults; it overlaps with ren (clean) and felfri (faultless) but has a stronger connotation of surface cleanliness. It should not be confused with fläckig (stained) or dirty.
