farszu
Farszu is a traditional natural dye used in textile production in the highland region of Eldara. The word originates from the Eldaran language, where farszu means “bright color.” The dye is produced from the root of the farszu shrub (Callosarix eldarensis, a fictional species). The extraction yields a yellow-to-amber pigment, which can be intensified to red-brown tones by varying processing and mordants.
