Eldaras is a coastal city-state in the fictional world of Athera, located on the eastern shore of the continent of Varin. As the capital of the Eldaran Trade Confederacy, it has long served as a major maritime and commercial hub, linking inland markets with distant ports through a dense network of ships, canals, and caravan routes. The city’s skyline is dominated by shipyards, glassworks, and white-stone palaces echoing a mercantile culture.

Eldaras traces its origins to early merchant settlements that coalesced into a fortified trading post during the middle ages. It grew through shipbuilding, textile crafts, and spice trade, surviving sieges when larger empires vied for its harbor.
