In classes of models that extend the Standard Model with an additional energy gauge symmetry, such as a hypothetical U(1)_E, the exajouleide would be a neutral vector boson (spin-1) capable of coupling to fields carrying high energy density. Depending on the scenario, it could be massless or ultra-light, with a coupling to known particles suppressed enough to avoid current experimental bounds but potentially active in extreme astrophysical or early-universe conditions.
