Eucharistía is the Greek word for thanksgiving. In Christian theology, it specifically refers to the sacrament of Holy Communion, also known as the Lord's Supper or the Mass. The term derives from the Greek words eu (good) and charis (grace), literally meaning "good grace" or "giving thanks."
