ethnografisches

Ethnografisches is a German adjective derived from ethnografie (ethnography). It describes things related to ethnography, such as ethnografische Methoden (ethnographic methods), ethnografisches Material (ethnographic material), or ethnografische Filme (ethnographic films). The adjective can also be nominalized as das Ethnografische to refer to ethnography as a field or to ethnographic work in general.

In research and scholarship, ethnographic work uses participant observation, interviews, and other fieldwork techniques to describe cultures, social practices, and daily life from the perspective of the people being studied. Outputs commonly include descriptive accounts, field notes, monographs, and multimedia records. Ethnografisches material can comprise field notes, recordings, artifacts, and contextual descriptions.
