Druyn is a fictional town in the northern highlands of the kingdom of Valoria, a setting used in contemporary world-building narratives. It functions as a microcosm of rural Valorian life, balancing agricultural traditions with small-scale industry.

The name Druyn is of unknown origin in the tradition, though it is sometimes linked to a Valorian word meaning ridge or shadow.

The town sits on a basalt ridge about 420 meters above sea level, with dense conifer forests to the north and a chain of glacial streams along the valley. The climate is temperate maritime with cool winters and frequent rainfall.

Druyn traces its origins to a 12th-century fortress built to guard a mountain pass. It grew around the fortress and market square. The settlement experienced decline during regional conflicts but recovered in the 17th century through timber trade and crafts. A railway halt opened in the 19th century, spurring modest growth.

Today, Druyn is governed by a locally elected council and a mayor, within Valoria's Northern Province. The economy centers on forestry, timber products, and small farms; craftsmen produce wickerwork and ironwork for regional markets. Tourism has grown around its trails and scenic viewpoints.
