Dallasse is a fictional city located on the southern coast of the island nation of Veridia. It is a common setting in world-building exercises and speculative fiction. The population is typically described as about 150,000 residents.

Dallasse sits at the mouth of the Solen River, sheltered by a crescent bay. The city experiences a humid subtropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters; average annual rainfall is around 1,000 millimeters.

The city was founded in the 17th century by maritime traders and grew as a regional port. It expanded through industrialization in the 19th century and later diversified into services and manufacturing.
