cleidocephaly
Cleidocephaly is a rare skeletal dysplasia characterized by underdeveloped or absent clavicles. The term originates from the Greek words "kleis" (collarbone) and "kephale" (head). Individuals with cleidocephaly may have unusually mobile or narrow shoulders, which can sometimes meet in the front of the chest. This condition is often discovered incidentally on X-rays due to the absence or significant hypoplasia of the clavicles.
In some cases, cleidocephaly can be associated with other skeletal abnormalities, though it is not always accompanied
Diagnosis is typically made through radiographic imaging. Treatment, if necessary, focuses on managing any functional limitations
