Bookedout is a term used in scheduling and inventory management to describe a state in which all available units—such as appointments, tickets, hotel rooms, or service slots—have been reserved or allocated, leaving no immediate availability. In this sense, a schedule is booked out when it cannot accommodate new bookings until existing reservations are canceled, postponed, or released.

The expression is common in hospitality, travel, events, and professional services. Hotels may report that they are booked out for a date, restaurants may reach a booked-out status for peak hours, and tours or activities may operate with no remaining slots. The term can apply to individual resources or to entire calendars and is sometimes used interchangeably with fully booked or sold out, though sold out more often refers to inventory of a product rather than capacity.

In practice, bookedout can be indicated by booking systems, calendars, or storefront messaging. Forecasting and demand planning aim to reduce time in a booked-out state by adding capacity, adjusting pricing, or offering waitlists. The phrase is informal but widely understood in consumer-facing communications, as well as in internal scheduling discourse.
