ballACC

Ball ACC is a regional sports network in the Mid-Atlantic United States that airs a variety of sports programming. Operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group, the network was launched in 1994 and is available to over 6 million subscribers in the Washington, D.C. area and parts of Maryland and Virginia.

Ball ACC features a mix of local sports coverage, including the ACC Network, a joint venture with ESPN to broadcast Atlantic Coast Conference sports. The network also airs high school sports, including wrestling, football, and basketball. Ball ACC simulcasts various ACC Network broadcasts, which include the ACC Championship Football and Basketball tournaments.

Regional sports network Ball ACC also emphasizes local content, including televised broadcasts of local high school sports teams. The network has agreements with various local schools and athletic conferences, such as the Washington, D.C.-based Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC).

Ball ACC's broadcast area includes Washington, D.C. metropolitan region and surrounding areas. In select areas, Ball ACC is available on cable and over-the-top (OTT) platforms. The network has gained popularity for its live sports coverage, with Ball ACC streaming services also allowing subscribers to catch up on local sports games.

In 2020, Sinclair Broadcast Group reached a deal with ESPN and the ACC to continue carrying the network through 2036, solidifying its position as a premier sports broadcasting service in the region.
