Bakaxlarna, or rear axles, are a vehicle’s rear drivetrain components that transmit torque to the rear wheels and support the vehicle’s weight. In most rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, the rear axle contains the differential and connects to the wheels via axle shafts, allowing power delivery to the rear wheels.
