Bådeen is a small island located in the Stockholm archipelago, Sweden. It is situated in the northeastern part of the archipelago, approximately 35 kilometers southeast of Stockholm.

Geologically, the island is a limestone promontory, known for its rocky shoreline and numerous small sandy beaches. The terrain is relatively flat, with an average elevation of 10 meters above sea level. The soil is acidic and fertile, supporting a diverse range of plant life, including coniferous and deciduous trees.

The climate on Bådeen is temperate, with cold winters and mild summers. The island experiences a relatively long growing season, with the first greenfield usually appearing in late April. The warmest months are July and August, with average high temperatures ranging from 21 to 22 degrees Celsius.

There is a village on the island, with approximately 400 residents. The village is primarily centered around fishing, lobster and mussel cultivation, and small-scale farming. A few summer homes and apartments are also present on the island, but the island has limited infrastructure and is generally reserved for residents and workers in the fishing industry.

Bådeen is uninhabitable for most of the year due to its remote location and harsh climate conditions. The nearest point of land is Vernershöftön Gål-tatlioiaida, located about 3 kilometers southwest of Bådeen. However, there are regular helicopters services during the summer months to and from Stockholm that provide access to the island.
