Asun is a term with multiple uses. In Nigerian cuisine, asun (also written as asún) is a spicy grilled meat dish, typically made from goat or lamb, skewered and cooked over charcoal. The meat is seasoned with a hot pepper–based spice mix, commonly known as yaji, and is often served with chopped onions and peppers. Asun is associated with the Yoruba people of southwestern Nigeria and is a variation of suya, distinguished by its preparation and serving style. It is widely available in Lagos and other urban centers, where street vendors and restaurants offer skewered portions or whole grilled servings.

ASUN Conference is the acronym for the ASUN Conference, a collegiate athletic conference in the southeastern United States that competes in NCAA Division I. The conference originated in 1978 as the Trans America Athletic Conference (TAAC) and was later renamed the Atlantic Sun Conference before adopting the ASUN Conference name in 2016. The ASUN conducts championships in multiple sports for its member institutions, which have included universities such as Liberty University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Lipscomb University, Stetson University, Jacksonville University, the University of North Florida, Kennesaw State University, Bellarmine University, and the University of North Alabama, among others. The conference is known for its basketball programs and has produced teams that have competed in the NCAA tournaments.
